Mail Appliance Licensing

Hello-

I am wondering if anyone can give me a definitive answer to this... I'm looking at purchasing a new Astaro Mail Appliance (no firewall, no web security, just Mail).  I have 6 email servers that would relay mail in and out of this Astaro Mail Appliance... can I just buy the [minimum] 10 IP license since I will only have 6 different IPs behind it?

    I believe it's licensed based on the number of mailboxes ("users").


    Would you be so kind as to verify this with Astaro?  According to the AMG Pricing Matrix, it says that the AMG Base license cost is determined by Users, and it has a footnote that reads: "Users" include workstations, clients, servers, and devices which have an IP address and that are protected by the Astaro Gateway."

    Nothing about mailboxes there...

    From the latest licensing FAQ:
    "If Astaro Security Gateway is protecting an email server, but not the computers 
    opening the emails, then every email account on the server does count as one user."

    Although this references the ASG, the licensing model for the AMG is the same.

    Great, I guess that answers my question... can you give me a URL to that FAQ?  I can't seem to find it.
