We just let all of our customer units run until it's time to update the firmware. There have been a few instances here or there where we had to manually restart daemons, etc, due to various issues (like the ctasd runaway memory leak that happened a couple of months ago), but we often have units that just run and run until it's time for a system up2date.

If they've got 512Mb RAM (ASG110 - ASG120 - ASG220) an occasional reboot can help them perform faster by clearing out some chaff. Boxes with more horsepower rarely need a reboot.
