Managing IPs and licenses on home install

I have a Home license for ASG (7.301) and my astaro box is sending me an email that I am using all 10 licenses.  One IP it lists is for a Mirra backup server that doesn't need access to the internet.  It also list some laptops that grabbed an IP via DHCP, but they are turned off right now, but Astaro still lists them in the list if IPs that are using a license.  How can I manage and control this?  Is there a way to tell Astaro that the Mirra server doesn't need access to the internet and thus doesn't need a license?  Is there a way to release or refresh the laptop IP licenses that are not currently in use?

    The Astaro will list any IP that traverses, or attempt to traverse, the firewall (or grabs an IP via DHCP) for 7 days after the last connection from that IP.  Therefore, your disconnected laptop IPs will dissappear, on their own, after they've been disconnected for 7 days.  As to the backup server, if it's getting it's IP via the Astaro DHCP service, set that server up with a static IP.  Also, remove the gateway setting or do not point it at the Astaro, or else it will be counted.

    Thanks, I'll change the default gateway on my Mirra server. It already has a static IP.

    If Astaro shows all my licenses being used, but let's say two of them are from DHCP laptops that are turned off.  Will I be able to connect using a new laptop and get an IP from astaro's DHCP service, or do I have to wait until one of the laptop IP clears out from 7 days on non-activity?

    If you already have 10 licenses allocated, you will still be able to connect 1 more device.  There is a "grace" licensing algorithm that will allow you to go over the license slightly for situations like this.  If you already have 11 devices allocated, the 7 day cycle on one of the unused connections will need to go by before you can connect again.  If you are using a device with the same MAC address (like the same laptop) as one that is already allocated, then the license count will remain the same.
