Prefetch Directory Users wrong username

I have tried to use the new feature Prefetch Directory Users this weekend. I think I have found an error in the implementation. The Users of the selected Groups are imported, but with the wrong attributes. The real name in the AD is imported as the username in the Astaro and the real name in the Astaro is empty, therefor not imported at all. This makes the user authentication impossible, because the NTLM authentication for example send the username and not the real name to the astaro which of course denies access.

Did anyone notice the same?

To make things clear: In the AD the username is "doe" and the real name is "John Doe". The Astaro imports the user with the username "John Doe" and no real name.

    I discovered this today as well and filed a CRITICAL support ticket with Astaro -- hopefully they will reply sometime this week since I am unable to reach anyone on the phone.  It seems that they are creating the local user based on the active directory 'CN' attribute of the user account insted of the 'sAMAccountName' attribute, which would provide us with the CORRECT username.  Simply amazing that this bug was not caught... v7.302 coming soon to an ASL box near you.

    I just had a customer pop up with this one... I too have started a case on their behalf.

    I have just talked to someone at the Astro support yesterday and the told me they are working on it. They couldn't tell me though when the update is going to come out.
    I'll let you know when I have more information.

    There seems to be an update now, that the support can install for you. But you seem to have to install the next Up2Date manually. I guess if you open a support case you can get. I'll just wait the next two weeks for the next Up2Date.

    Just an update for anyone that cares... this major bug is still not fixed with the release of 7.302.  The saddest part is that I am able to reproduce this over and over again.

    This issue is fixed in the next release 7.303 .
