Hi.
  guys can i used astaro in business without buying any license? or it only free for home users? i going install on a linux box, but i wonder does this piece of software is GNU software or not? which i can used in commecial /business. [:P]
Please point me to the correct path where i can get more info on this..thaks[H][:P]

    Astaro Security Gateway is a commercial software solution consisting of open source and propritary parts. 
    The GNU software parts and the sources can be downloaded from our ftp server but won't run properly without the propritary componets.

    Astaro offers free 30 day trial licenses as well as free home-use liceses (no commercial use) with a limitation of 10 ip addresses behind the gateway. 

    If you want to use this product in your business you need to buy a license, but this one is a lot cheaper than many other solutions out there.

    Hi everybody,

    i had an additional question concerning licensing and i think it would not be worth it to open a new thread.

    I want to use an ASG for a network event where 300 IPs are using it.

    But this event lasts only 3 days.

    What would you recommend?
