What does...

... the "ctasd" service do ???

Since last night, it uses over 40 % of my ram and swapped 89 %

Astaro V7.201 in HotStandby mode with 2 nodes.

It's the spam scanning engine. You can try to disable smtp- and pop3-proxy, wait 20 seconds and then reenable them.

It is known and we are actively working with CommTouch to craft a resolution. Please see the thread referenced by MBirdCZ for details and workarounds
