WiFi management

Hi,
Do you know if it is possible to install a Wireless PCI card in an ASG 7.3 in order to use it like an access point ?

I believe they removed wireless functionality in version 5.xx, so it's been maybe 3 years or so. You'll need to do it externally.

Correct, eganders.

What many people do is dedicate an ethernet interface in ASL for a wifi DMZ, using a cheap AP.

ASL can handle the DHCP, etc., and you can do VPNs from the wifi to the LAN if you want, using ASL.

As Barry said, APs became so cheap that having this functionality built-in was overkill.
