Hi all,
I was wondering how locally authenticated Users (within a User Group) can be authenticated to be gained access in Firewall rules: I can define a "User Group Network" as the Traffic source, but how do the Users authenticate as those User Objects? Is only the VPN IP used so the user won't match this rule when working in LAN but only whewn dialled in on ASG?
I know users can authenticate in their browsers when Proxy authentication is activated, but I don't think this is used for Firewall rules (?)
By the way: When using AD Backend Auth for Proxy authentication, will the users have to enter their Domain login in the browsers or will NTLM send those credentials automatically?
Thank You!
Marcus
