Mass delete users

I'm using eDirectory backend auth on my box, and when I initially set it up, I selected "automatically create local users".  I now have about 4000 users in ASG's database. Each user has a "User Network" associated with them and everytime I want to do something with a user or network, I have to wait 2-3 minutes for Internet Explorer to cache the objects. [:(] I don't need the user objects in ASG's database as they don't need VPN and I don't use mail filtering. I've moved all the HTTP profiles to use backend groups instead of individual users also. 

So...
Is there a way for me to mass delete all the "Remote authentication" user (or all users for that matter)? One by one deletes aren't cutting it.

    We have a similar problem in that we cannot get into the Quarantine Manager because it will timeout beyond a certain number of users (we have about 6000).

    Astaro support have confirmed to us they have a method of doing mass user deletes, but would not divulge the method.

    I looked into this myself but was hampered by two things - you can delete users from the object database, but I could not figure out a way of getting the user's object number in an automated way to punt into a script.  And of course, you risk voiding your support...
