With the release of 7.200 and v7 finally starting to look fairly stable, we've taken some initial steps towards testing v7 and comparing to v6.
So we took the configuration for one of our sites and plugged into a spare machine and began the conversion process.
Overall, it went fairly smooth, but nearly everything in my earlier list of v7 annoyances still stands.
However, in migrating over our SMTP proxy settings and find that we can no longer set any type of anti-spam features at all. We do not have an email filtering license.
For example, we currently use RBL zones, SPF checks and file extension filters in v6, but we can not use any of those features in v7.
This is a bit of a pain for us, because now if we want to migrate to v7, we'll have to move all those functions to a central mail server. But it's not a bit enough pain to pay additional for smtp filtering which also includes anti-virus which we already have covered.
Does anyone else miss those features from v6?
