To my knowledge, the only way to do this is to enter them manually, one after the other.
There have been numerous requests for some sort of import feature, but to date these request have been ignored.
I have black and white lists that are several hundred strong, and I plan on running v6 until it ceases to function, or I just can't stand it any more and just make the plunge and redo my lists manually. Not looking forward to it.....
V7 also has the *feature* of not allowing any kind of overlap in http proxy settings so if you want to setup lets say... all your users can only visit sites of type X,Y,Z + whitelisted sites... and you have an exception for one or more people who need to access sites of type X,Y,Z, and W + the whitelisted sites... you will have to maintain 2 separate proxy profiles with 2 completely different whitelists...........
Call/email and make the feature request/complaint...
with a properly configured HTTP proxy it is hardly necessary to use a blacklist several hundred lines long.
Remember the v6 uses the ibm/cobion/iss orangebox database, whereas the new v7 uses surfcontrol and is vastly more accurate imho. I went from 100 or so manual tweaks, to 5.
Also you might consider running the v7 proxy in whitelist mode, thus only specifiying the types of sites and indivudal sites to allow, and it will block everything else, which means you do not always have to tweak the filter as much, just make the occasional allow for a site that you did not anticipate vs always having to run reports, identify problem sites, and react accordingly.
Some of us whitelist 100 sites (and only those 100 specific sites) instead of a larger category because of political/policy reasons more than technical. And even if that wasn't the case it doesn't neglect the fact that V7 has no inheritance between proxy profile setups which doubles.......triples.. and sometimes quadruples my work. (and in my opinion is a total pain in the a$$)
