Bandwidth usage by Astaro 7.104

Hello,

I am trying to work out what is using my WAN traffic on my local home network.  Even without any Internet use by users, I see over 100MB used in a day.

I have HTTP proxy and POP3 proxy running on my Astaro box and I have *disabled* all Up2Date downloads (including signatures and program updates) but this has no impact.

Are there any other functions within the application that will use this bandwidth and not be reported in any of the traffic reports?

All HTTP traffic reported by the application is significantly less than 100MB (as little as 3MB).  Firewall rules allow IMAP/SMTP traffic only - HTTP by proxy only.

    Is there anything helpful in the Reporting->Network Usage->Accounting? Maybe you can see there where this traffic comes from or is heading to ...

    Hi Andreas,

    In both Network Accounting and the Daily Executive Report, I can see that the Gateway IP address is using a bulk of this traffic.  For example, overnight I see that the Astaro Firewall external IP address has used over 80MB without having the updates runing.

    Drilling into this, it reads that most of this was outbound HTTP traffic (192.168.1.100 is the external IP).
