OK, I'm a newbie with this advanced network security but I need some help from experts. I built a box just for Astaro and it's fundamentally working fine. My domain is hosted by a 3rd party company - and with my little D-Link router all is well. With Astaro, I can receive mail with no problem, but messages I send just sit in my outbox. Testing (with Outlook) errors on sending mail. At first it was dropped packets (I saw it in the live log), but after fixing that - no improvement. My incoming and outgoing mail server is mail.BLAH,BLAH,BLAH.com. (The blah blah blah isn't real).
I've done an ANY-ANY packet filter with no help. I turned off Intrusion Protecion with no help. What is the trick to allow an e-mail client to connect to an external mail server for outgoing mail? I really don't want to have to plug my D-Link in again.
Thank you Anyone!
