home license V7.1 on ASG 120

i am happy about getting an ASG 120 hardware after i got it repaired.

In the meanwhile the company got a new one (usage with their existing license).

Of course, now, i am willing to replace my pc-homelicense-combination with the asg110/120 hardware together with my home-license.

Installing / Uploading that on the ASG hardware leads to an error: invalid license.

What can i do to get this prefered combination to work for me at home? Otherwise the good ASG hardware would be unusable :-(

    Just install the software from the SW iso and NOT from the appliance iso.

    my first attempt was exactly to install the iso SW (created a CD, booted the ASG 120 from that and begun the installation. Performig the last step of install-assistant the message did apear, that this hardware is not supported an that i have to use the appliance iso. So i did... That at least worked fine despide of the fact, that the home licens is not accepted.

    Do you know an other way to install the SW iso on the original ASG hardware?

    Umm... try booting with a Linux Live CD, etc, and deleting all the partitions on the 120 hard drive... I think the standard ISO install looks for existing appliance partitions.

    thank you very much for that advice. I did so (deleting all partitions on the hd) and the installation with the ISO-Image on that original ASG hardware worked perfect! No problems, configurations done and license file (home use) uploaded!
