License Question

I've got a client who is running v7.  Their maintenance license expires in a few months, what are the repercussions.  Does that mean they lose access to updates/upgrades?

    No more up2dates, that means Firmware updates will not download / install, no pattern up2dates (IPS rules, and if they have the web security and / or the email security subscriptions, no more AV updates for them either), and no support.  Oh, and yes, no upgrades.

    It's not a good idea to let that lapse, the effectiveness of the product will start to suffer pretty quickly afterwards.
