IP list seems to take a day or so to populate.

Connection list:
In V7, the only way to get this is on the console/shell... e.g.
cat /proc/net/ip_conntrack
as root (or use sudo)

Whats the root password?  I never have been able to log into the console on the server itself.  My normal login for the webgui  never works.  Is there a seperate one?

You need to set that up in the "System Settings" screen, IIRC.

Once you have login as loginuser then run the su command. Then key in the root password then you can pretty much do whatever you like with the box.

One last question.  I now see my active IP address's and theres 7 of them!  I heard you can only get up to 10 in the free edition.  My problem is theres at least 3 on my list that I havnt even heard of.  192.168.1.85, and 99.  Unpingable at this point so they must have been DHCP addresses given out that arnt in use.  How can I clear those, and put in my normal static addreses on my network.

All my devices on the my home network are staticly configured anyways...so having those in there does me NO good and utilizes my blocks of space!

at some stage you might have had the DHCP server enabled and those addresses were created before you assigned your fixed addresses.

They will eventually time out, I can't remember the duration the count stays for after the address was last seen.

Yep, 7 days.  And for any device or computer that will not need to contact the internet (like a network printer, etc.), manually assign a static IP to the device, leaving off the default gateway (or at least don't point it at the Astaro)... that way it won't be counted as a licensed IP.
