PlusPack for V7?

I want to compile the newes VMware-Tools for my Astaro firewall. Where do I get the PlusPack with the compiler for the V7?

Or can I compile the VMware-tools on another linux distribution and copy the binaries over?

vmware tools are included even in the regular iso. but only the old tools. i.e. for vmware server 2 (beta) there are new tools available.
