I awoke this morning to find that I had blown by allocated traffic bandwidth for the month. Interrogating the usage meter offered by my ISP reveals that I used close to 6GB of traffic overnight (while noone was online).
Interrogating the logs on the appliance reveals nothing out of the ordinary for network or web usage and I thought there may have been a reporting error by my ISP. However, I noticed a creep in my disk storage from about 2am where (over a period) it went from about 6% to close to 100%.
I am struggling to explain this issue and I can only assume that something went awry with the device. A reboot has storeage down to the normal 6% again.
Has anyone seen a similar issue? Can someone point me to more useful logs for troubleshooting? I am running ASG 7.101 Virtual Appliance.
