WebAdmin webserver not running

Hello Everyone,

     A few hours ago, i was checking through the astaro box and manually purged the system of excess spam mail.  the box is currently version 7.09.  The box is used as a self-standing firewall for the company's mail and web filtering needs.  once the screen changed it said it gave the casual page cannot be found message to my web browser.  i had to do some work and i came back a bit later to find several of these in my e-mail box:

WebAdmin webserver not running - restarted

I'm the only admin for this box and no changes have been done since it's comissioning a few weeks ago.  After seeing these messages every hour for a  full day, i went ahead and rebooted the system.  And alas, the webadmin interface is still down.  all the firewall functions are still working, poeple can still surf the web, mail, etc, but no interface to work with.  Any thoughts?

    I'd start a case with Astaro...

    It could be an out-of-date .pid file in the /var/locks directory, seems like someone here on the boards had an instance where Webadmin died, and going in via the shell, deleting the httpd.pid file, and restarting httpd fixed it (or a rebott would do the same)... however, doing such a thing in the shell could void your warranty without Astaro Support's help.
