Interface config from Shell

Hell!

I've accidentally turned of my Internal interface on the WebAdmin, so I no more able to reach it. I've tried to switch it on from the Shell with ifconfig eth4 up with no luck.
Unfortunatelly I have my recent config backups only on astaro. 
Is there any way to turn eth4 back to life from the shell console?
Or If I use factoryreset will my auto-backups stored on astaro vanish?

It's Astaro 7 by the way.

Ps. Is out there any resource for astaro shell commands?? Nothing can be found in the official manual neither on astaro kb.

    Sure thing.
    No success.
    After 
     ifconfig eth4 10.0.0.1
     ifconfig eth4 up
    the interface stood up, but still no remote-response.

    At last I decided to factoryreset it. I'm a bit angry at Astaro now - cause of a tiny miss-click I have to reconfigure my firewall.

    Not sure why you are angry with Astaro for your own mistake, however.

    REF_ .. to find the right interface usually looks like something below
    REF_ItfParamsDefaultInternal[Internal,itfparams,primary]

    write your changes to the interface, give it a few seconds to kick in.
