I have found that if you let your PC running either Vista 32 or 64 go to sleep or get to the stage where other applications take priority, then when you go to use the network again not everything functions correctly. (long complicated sentence).
In Vista (at least the 3 versions I am using) the multimedia function has priority over the network connections and as result seems to drop some ports/protocols when re-awakened.
I have noticed this on a number of occasions, but not usually a problem with webadmin. Well, tonight I found I couldn't connect to the backend for mail quarantine until I rebooted the PC.
At home I was using Vista 64 Ultimate, now using Vista 32 Ultimate and at work Vista 32 business. I think there are a couple of other little nasties in there I haven't been able to identify yet. Seen the behavior.
