[7.009] Multiple Internet Connections

Ladies & Gents,

Could somebody please clarify the following for me. 

Currently thinking of getting two DSL connections (will manage the actual PPPo-E part on the modem/router side) and configure Astaro's NICs to talk to the modem/routers. What I am trying to achieve is;

Use one of the connections for purely my IPSEC-VPN's & the other for HTTP traffic through the Proxy server.

How do I get Astaro's HTTP Proxy server to use a particular Interface. Is it by means of enabling the Default GW on the external NIC of choice?

If so then if I direct my VPN's at the other exteral IP address all should work okay?

    I've not tested with v7 but you can't have two dynamic interfaces - one will need to be static plus you can only have one default gateway. If you want to push HTTP traffic out of one interface then you will need to use Policy Based Routing (Network -> Routing -> Policy Based Route) with a Gateway Route.

    Thanks James - realise that part about the Dynamic interfaces hence my comment regarding dealing with that side on the modem/router.  Makes sense what you suggest but wished somebody else out there could comment.
