MEM Utilization

Is it just me or is the MEM utilization in 7.09 very high. I notice my ASG 220 hitting 85% MEM usage. When that happens the HTTP Proxy slows to a crawl.
Going to attempt a reboot, to see what happens after it flushes.

    The other thing you might try is adding frequently visited websites that you feel are safe to your exceptions list in Web Security | HTTP | Exceptions.  So for example if lots of your users regularly use cnn.com - add it to your exceptions list.  This significantly reduces the traffic being scanned and going to your web cache and will speed up your performance significantly.

    Also, if your staff listens to music a lot, some of the radio station sites on the internet use up some bandwidth, so you might add them to the exception list to.  Check your logs or the executive report and see what takes the most bandwidth / time.

      Thanks... Been using the exceptions for a while, I noticed an improvement in performance back in in 7.08. Streaming Audio and Video is only allowed for a very few. But after a few of the recommended changes performance is substantially better.
