Hi.
Lately I have discovered very strange issue which I can’t explain it.
I have a small software called “DHCP Find”, which Is for checking who is offering DHCP on the net.
I use it for checking whether someone of my users installed WiFi appliance in his home, and spreading DHCP offer in my net.
At the beginning all I could see was my Astaro Ip (which I use as DHCP server).
Few days ago, I have noticed that there is Strange IP (109.104.***.***), which act as DHCP server. The new IP is also on class B which is not typical to home routers.
At the beginning I suspect on one of my Users, but after few hours of checking, I have found out that it’s coming from my AGS.
After some more checking I have noticed that you only get it if your IP is configured as static IP on Network->DHCP->Static Mac/IP mappings.
I haven’t noticed any negative behavior so far, except that the “DHCP Find” can’t reveal the ASG any more. I have tried it on some computers – no luck.
Can someone check it and see if it happened also in his ASG?
