WebAdmin remote access

Hello,
I just finish to install an Astaro v7. I want have an external access to the WebAdmin. On the "Access Control" tab I have allow all network to access to my WebAdmin.

Strange,

With IE-6 and Firefox 2.006 i'll accept the security warning, after that waiting to load.........

What kind of modem/router do you use?
Is it bridged?
More IP's "Public"?

Its pingable.......768 ms from Europe, not ferry fast,OK
And with ALL networks you mean ANY with globe sign?

Do you have a device in front of the Astaro that forwards ports to it like a router of some sort?  If so, you'll have to forward both 443 (HTTPS) and 4444.  Another thing that you can look into is to try logging in from the "outside" during some time when there isn't much else going on in your network.  Then you can review that time in the packet filter log to see if anything is getting blocked.  There are some default packet filter rules that don't show up in the GUI and are called into play when using the Any filter for security purposes (In other words, Any actually means "most, but not all").  You may be running afoul of one of those.
 
I should point out that allowing WebAdmin access from Any host on the WAN side is a rather big security risk.  You would be much better protected by allowing WAN connection from just a few selected hosts.

My modem is a NetGear DG814 in bridge. I have nothing in front of the Astaro.

Maybe it's a browser thing.  Have you given it a shot with IE?

Ther is something else strange. My Astaro don't send mail after, restart, ....
This is not normal. Do you have any idea ?

Is their a solution to test the mail ?

Maybe their is a link between the 2 problems.

What kind of mail SMTP/POP3?
By Proxy? Or rule for smtp/pop3 to ANY?

Yust like Scott is asking, does IE-6 or 7 work?
Is your ISP blocking ports? (4444, webadmin)
