v7.007 ftp gone missing.

I tried to ftp a file to my ASG last night, but the ftp function appears to have gone missing.
Anyone any ideas.

    ftp never existed to put files on the asg, it has always been scp...

    Yeah, I don't think I've ever had FTP work... always had to use SCP (this is Version 6 and 7).

    Thank you for your answers.

    I am sure I downloaded a file to the ASG from Astaro using the onboard ftp.

    Of to try a fix.

    Now you say "I downloaded a file ... using the onboard ftp"
    These are not the same!

    wget, ncftp, ncftpget, curl, ... are available in v7, and at least some of those are in older versions as well.

    thank you for the update.

     I do think you are splitting hairs here. If I am on a server trying to use what I think is an inbuilt function (ftp) to copy, download or file transfer (use what ever name you like to apply) a file to that server or copy, upload or ftp a file to another server, they are all the same thing.

    I didn't mention ftpserver which is what I would have asked if I was trying to do it from my PC or workstation.
