novell security manager

Is novell security manager replaced by Endpoint Security Management?
I heard novell is stopping with security manager and licenses can't be updated to asg for example.... now i see a new product and it has nice features.
Perhaps astaro is also comming with new features.... like wireless and encryption? just thinking what do you think.....

  • Novell purchased "Endpoint Security Management" from Senforce Technologies. They will be integrating that into the ZENWorks suite to "mitigate threats of data theft, wireless exploits, software attacks, malware and viruses."

Novell has stopped development on their BorderManager product and previously had recommended end users switch to NSM and eventually ASG. Then as usual they changed their minds and started pushing users to the Novell Access Manager product.
