Data disk fills up

After only 1 hours 56 minutes of running ASG I get a notfication telling me that the Data Disk is filling up:

"Data Disk is filling up - please check. Current usage: 75%"

I guess I should not care, but exactly what is going on?

  • It's a 10 gig disc. Only local logging is enabled. According to the dashboard the logs only occupies 3 percent space. The data occupies nearly 90 percent.

  • Are you using the HTTP Proxy in caching mode? If so, clear the cache.  Also, if you are using the Anti-Spam features, try clearing the Proxy Content Manager out.

  • This is happening to me too, and it just started within the last week!  The offending directory is /var/storage/chroot-cffd/var/chroot-ftp/var/ftp, and it now contains 52G of files since I purged it two days ago! What is up here?

The files again are all named VS_* and range between 2.0G and 497K.

Total space on the /var/storage partition is 57.3G.
  • Its a problem with FTP-AV. I disabled AV-Scan and drive is free again!
