Can someone tell me what the difference is between the home licnese and the paid for license, other than the price?
Here's my setup:
Two client computers, both Athlon 64s, running XP Pro in a domain configuration.
One domain controller running SBS 2003 Server R2 wired up to the network with one NIC.
One USR 8700 NAS unit.
One VoIP PAP2 device with one phone.
A Linksys cable modem, ISP is Charter.net.
A Linksys router/wireless gateway WRT54GS. Right now it is acting as a DHCP server; the Astaro firewall box is going to be a Sempron eMachines which will take over the DHCP and sit between the cable modem and router, and correct me if I'm wrong, reduce the router in status to switch/WAP. I also have another switch attached to the router via a crossover cable so I have more network ports.
I'm fairly new at this game but want to jump in with two feet; otherwise how will I learn? So far, setting up this mini domain with a registerd Internet name has gotten me the hands on to help with the MCSE/MCSA exams.
Get back to me on the home vs paid for license, and any problems I may encounter with the setup described above.
Thanks!
Chris
