We are currently using astaro v5 with a static dsl from AT&T. We have 4 static IP and a netopia router. We no longer need the 4 static IP, but for AT&T, either you get 4 static (business class), or single IP that is dynamic. As far as I know, the netopia router is the one that does the connection (pppoe maybe). The username/password is all configure within the dsl router (This is not a dsl modem), and it doesn't have to kick off my the pc/server in the backend like it use to in the old day.
My question is this, can astaro 7.0 setup so that the external NIC can handle dynamic IP ? or what is the best way to do this?
