I have been having problems with my dhcp server on ASG7. When I check the lease table it looks like ASG is assigning leases a day ahead of the hardware clock and the system clock. I have check to make sure that the clocks are set correctly.
So on 06-06-2007 I have a lease entry that looks like this:
lapieG5 00:16:cb:09:0a:c3 192.168.1.110 2007/06/07 00:33:04 UTC 2007/06/09 00:33:04 UTC
This is keeping my laptop from connecting. I did restart the firewall one day and then was able to get an address out of the DHCP server on ASG7 but the next day I had the same problem. Any ideas?
Also is there a way to restart the DHCP part of the ASG7 with out restarting the whole system? I have tried to toggle the DHCP off/on and it doesn't look like the service is restarted. So if there is a way to go it from a shell that would work.
