Hi,
after upgrading to 7.004 from 7.003 and a reboot the firewall is no longer accessible. The network link is going up and down. mii-diag -w reports on all interfaces:

 MII BSMR now 7949: no link, NWay busy, No Jabber (0000).
 MII BSMR now 796d: Good link, NWay done, No Jabber (41e1).

The cards are e1000s.
I tried other switches but the problem persists. I tried to set a fixed rate but mii-diag says: Operation not supported.
I can't connect to the webinterface.

Any suggestions?

    cat /etc/modules and /etc/modprobe.conf
    to see which driver is being used.

    IIRC, there are 2 intel drivers... I think they are eepro and e1000... you might have to switch if there is a problem or incompatiblility with one of them.
    I don't think eepro supports gigabit though.
