High CPU Forcing a Reboot

Hello.  I am still very new to this firewall.  It seems to be using too much CPU in the middle of the day around 1:30 to 3:00 PM.  I notice the Internet come to a crashing halt and I am forced to reboot the Firewall.

I upgraded from 7.003 to 7.004 in hopes that would fix it but it still continues.  How do I diagnose and resolve this?  I have attached a weeks Hardware Report that shows a spike the same time each day.

Thanks,
Matt

  • we're having the same issue on a 220 appliance in a production environment. Current reply from support

Version 7006 will contain improvements regarding this issue. We plan to release this update until mid of July.

    Sorry for the trouble!

Not really good enough. No workarounds or tips offered.

The box stops routing completely and requires powercycling to restore.
  • Can't wait to see 7.006. Because I use the ASG only at home I can temporarily live without IPS and the HTTP Proxy...
