A disturbing thing about the SIP report is that each packet is considered a connection, so according to the SIP summary I had over 3000 connections yesterday. Worst part was none of them worked, ring no voice.
I know what the problem is, the SIP helper doesn't work properly, it still behaves like a proxy. If you disable the SIP helper and just put a packet filter rule in, traffic goes through without an entry in the PF log.
At the moment I waiting for mt SIP provider to advise they have fixed up their DNS or what ever so their proxies have seperate IPs.
