I'm in the process of evaluating an ASG 220, and the user interface has me confused.
Number one: do I have to reboot the gateway after changing the WebAdmin idle session timeout? I've changed it to 900 seconds, and to 3600 seconds, hit Apply, but the session still times out after 600 seconds. Very frustrating.
Next frustrating item: I'm trying to accomplish a simple task - add an existing user account to the SuperAdmins user group. Right now, "admin" is the only user. I created a new user, but I can't see any way to add that user from the pick list on the left side of the screen. If I select a user to add to the group, nothing happens. I've tried double-clicking (so much for that within a browser window). The user may be highlighted, but when I click save, it's not added to the group member list. Only the default, admin, is there.
All the user guide says is pick from the list. How the heck do I do this?
This is the same throughout the WebAdmin interface. I try to add protocols for NAT, and they don't get saved.
My frustration here is that I'm doing this as volunteer work, and I can only do it during the evenings, when I can't get an Astaro person on the phone. How do I get realtime help if I can only do it at night?
Right now, the evaluation of this unit isn't going very well, and Astaro may lose a sale, but I'm stumped. Any ideas?
