We plan to get 2 boxes of ASG which can be used as active/passive clustering.
If both the boxes are connected to 2 different internet providers for redundancy in that case if one of the provider to which the active box is connected goes down,will the passive box becomes active or will it become active only when the active box fails.
I think the passive box keeps pinging the active box and takeover when it dosent get ping response but in this case the internet provider is down not the box so it will keep getting ping response and no users can reach our webservers [:(]
