End-user Portal

Hello All,

Is there anyone who have changed the PORT "443" to another one? and get it working?

If I do this and connect to Https://domainname[[[[:P]]]]ORT you see that it is trying to connect but it will and in https://EXTERNAL-interfaceADRES[[[[:P]]]]ORT/portal/

Is this a bug or is there something else to edit......

    Nope you found yet another bug. 
    I just tried and got the same issue.  Put it back to 443, all works.....
    Not happy...
    Where is this damn new up2date.....

    I can't show this to management until at least I can use the HTTP Proxy.  grrr

    Hi all,

    I always use port 4433 for End User portal and I always connected at port 4433. 

    I don't have any problem with End User portal, works fine.

    You can see https:\62.177.118.62:4433

    This is our test gateway for our customers ....

    Are you able to change the port to something else?  Does it still work?
    are you on 7.000 or 7.001?
    If you are on 7.001 did you set your 4433 up before you updated

    This port is in use with "Astaro Command Center"!

    I've tried this, NO success.

    Still "192.168.1.2:4433/.../" as feedback......
    So the communication is there but will not resolve the End user portal.
    From "internal network" it works fine?

    192.168.1.2 is External Interface adres.

    Hi all,

    I reconfigured End User Portal to port 4400. You can see https:\62.177.118.62:4400

    user:          asl
    password:   asl

    I think, End User Portal works ...

    You can test it ...

    Do you use Your "Public IP adres" on the external Interface?(Astaro)
    or a private adres?
    What kind off modem/router do you use?

    Maybe thats the problem within Astaro (NAT).....
    Have to find out if Bridging/DHCP SPoof (ADSL-modem)will work for me?

    Hi SilverOne,

    this Astaro has public IP address on the external interface - 62.177.118.62. 

    Before Astaro is ADSL router Zyxell Prestige 660R-63 in routing mode with public IP address on the ADSL interface and public IP address block.

    But I have one another installation ASGs 7.001 with PPPoE on external interface and Astaro works. ADSL modem (Zyxell Prestige 660R-63)  works in Bridge mode, encapsulation RFC1483 and this installation has only one public IP address. I think, don't problem with this installation. Customer doesn't call me ...

    I have the same problem. ASG 7.002 with private external address: If I change Port for End-User Portal to anything than 443, the private IP-address shows up in the browser.
    I just openend a support case about that. Let´s see what they´ve got on this issue.

    Astaro Support acknowledged that there is a bug in a perl-script (wrong variable for the IP-Address). The case is been forwarded to QA and will hopefully be fixed in the next update.
