    Don't know what your needs are.

    In our corprate, regulated industry (financial) environment, with small IT budget, choose Astaro.

    Good value per dollar for all of the optional features - which we use.

    Lower cost of support than others that have the same feature set.

    Good reporting for a regulated environment.

    Susefirewall - no support other than end user; PURE OPEN SOURCE - might make regulators nervous; features we would need are missing.

    Susefilrewall might work godd for home.  But so will Astaro "home use" version (license)!

    ASstaro has ICSA 4 certification Common Criteria EAL 2 .. so if you value 3rd party accreditation then ASTARO, SUSE is great but you do need to tick boxes for it to be real in the business world ...
