Why won't someone from Astaro contact me?

In the last 3 weeks I have put in 3 requests (through the contact form at astaro.com) to have someone contact me about purchasing an ASG-110 for a client.  So far no one has gotten back with me.

Do I smell bad or something?

Maybe no one wants my business?  I'm starting to think it would be quicker to go through the process of becoming a reseller myself.  Then maybe I could get some hardware for my client.

Maybe I'm actually in... the Twilight Zone....

Anyone...Bueller...??

    Hi all...

    I'm in Illinois, west of Peoria.  I'm going to PM Bruce too...

    I looked at the list of resellers, they're all up near Chicago.  I'm way out in rural Illinois, so I have nothing close by.  I really don't care where it comes from.

    I have no trouble with the sales or technical support groups.  We cary a support agreement.  If you only contacted them once through email, are you sure your email got through?

    Try calling the sales telephone number directly.  Try calling your resellers.  If one reseller is not interested, move on to the next.  Some are not as hungry for business as others.

    Reseller not in your area?  Should not matter.  Support can be done remotely by reseller or AStaro Tech suport.  If you need to 'see' the product, ask for a demo unit - you might get one.  Otherwise, go visit an installation in your area or at a reseller.

    Great company and product!

    Related question:

    Our "Maintenance Gold" contract is up for renewal... We've normally bought & renewed directly through Astaro.

    Would there be any difference if we went through a reseller?
    Would we still get phone support directly to Astaro if we needed it?
    What would be the other differences, if any?

    We're a fairly new reseller, but Astaro has told us they don't do direct sales anymore.. (FWIW).. anyhow, no difference, it's the same price (we quote the MSRP, and Astaro is supposed to enforce that) unless it's a special deal.  You can use any reseller you want, and can still use support directly if you'd like.  Gold support, you get a login to my.astaro.com and start tickets, or you can call a toll number.  Platinum gives you a toll free support number, and faster guaranteed response.  We oftentimes handle little things (basic questions) out of courtesy for our customers, bigger things we either start a ticket for them or they start one directly.

    Astaro now operate a TWO Tier Model .. Astaro sell to Distribution, then Disti to Reseller .. Software SYSTEM is Silver only ie Tech support  on product features, GOLD is for appliances and is Reseller then Astaro .. Platinum is 24x7 direct to ASTARO .. pays yer munny takes yer choice .. any reseller can sell to you probably best to use a contry local to you .. hope this helps ..
