My ASG went into go slow mode (v7.001)

My ASG v7.001 went into go slow mode today after being up for just over 5 days.
There were no apps hogging the cpu, none of the log files showed anything out of the ordinary, the whole system was just slow, very slow.
I tried without the http proxy and it wasn't much better. Pop3 proxy was failing to respond and outlook was timing out, 10 minute  download time.
My sons were complaining of very slow pings for the games.

I shut the ASG and the ADSL modem down, then started by powering the modem up first followed by the ASG.

Response times gradually improved until they were running faster than I can ever remember with this box.

Also I am getting a lot of reject packets when trying to access webadmin,  I didn't see this with the faster box. I will let it run for another week and see what happens.
