Hello folks,

first of all i like to say to astaro that i'm sick of posting every bug a hundred times without any feedback. In my opinion there are a lot of people out there spending a lot of time in testing your products, but your (Astaros) response is more than bad. For that reason i stopped testing everything and just take a look on some basic features. By the way, a power-homeuser-license (like on V5) as a gratification for all users spending much time on testing was a nice thing, why did you stop that?

And now my buglist:

  • On "Remote Access" > "L2TP over IPSec", there is no message appearing after pressing the "Apply" button. Bug was already posted here
  • Disabling L2TP-remote-access kills established Site2site-Tunnels. They are still up and running (says webadmin) but do not work an more, only a reboot helps. Bug was already posted here, but ignored
  • I have a dhcp-service running on two ASG-interfaces with some mac/ip-mappings. On the "Static MAC/IP mappings"-page it is not possible to change the "DHCP Server" for an existing entry, my changes are ignored.
  • The network-reporting-graph for my PPPOE-adapter is named as ""
  • Some problems with IE7, for example it's quite difficult to use the drop-and-drag boxes with IE7 when the page is scrolled down. Or take a look at my screenshot on the user-portal here
  • A wrong email-Address (e.g. admin@local) on the initial basic-setup leads to an "OBJECT_INVALID_PARAM" error message.
  • I can't change my Webadmin-certificate from hostname (dns of external interface) to internal IP-address. The new certificate is generated but not used. Already reported here

    Have you opened up official support tickets for all those items as well? It is well known that Astaro doesn't always watch the boards for issues.

    No i didn't.

    Most bugs where found during the beta-test. And there was/is no bugtracking during beta-phase, so a forum is necessary in order to let the people not test the same stuff.

    Astaro should not "always" watch the forum, but once a week WITH FEEDBACK should be possible! It's just disappointing to see that nobody seems to be interested in bugs.

    Well, not that V7 is "gold", I would open trouble tickets for all issues you are experiencing.

    pfilter-reporte is chewing up 100% of cpu for long periods of time resulting in system loads hovering between 1-4.  Even as root in console this process won't go away.

    Yep, then that's all you can do if you're a home user, but there seems to be a lot of paying customers that only post here in the forum.
