Switching to V7-license?

Hi,

even at home, i do not trust V7 enough, to completely switch to it and only have it on a test-box.
Now I wanted to switch this box to V7-license, but in the license manager at MyAstaro I read the following hint: "The button above will delete your old license and create a new V7 Home use license. The old license will no longer receive Up2Date service."

As I understand this, my main box with ASL 6.303 will no longer receive updates when I switch to V7-license.

How can I test the future update- and upgrade-possibillities promissed for end of march, when they won't make the way to my box? At home I test features for work, and that I think is one of the main reasons, why they give home user licenses.

Am I reading something wrong?

    Astaro should at least provide a "test" V7 license that doesn't expire the V6 license in case you need to roll back. The "test" license should be exactly the same as a real converted V7 license so that you can do proper testing.

    It's not a good idea to test with the beta license since it enables all features by default and your production V7 license will not likely have all those features.

    You should be able to contact your reseller for assistance.
