ssh access to the ASG 120

Hello

How can I access the gateway over ssh? I tried over putty port 22 but i
became a failure. Network error: Connection timed out.

Everything else is ok.

ASG 120, version 5.213

is ssh switched on and have u set the allowed network for ssh access in the webadmin

:-) ssh switched on, where?

i have only a packet filter rule: internal (network) ->any service->anydestination

Go to System/Settings, enable: "SSH (Shell Access) Settings" and put the Internal Network to the "Allowed Network" list.

another problem, the ssh-password. i have the passwort for the webadmin, but how can i change the sshpassword?

will be set in the basic setup after first start - if u don't have it u can go directly to console w/ root usr/pwd; if u don' have this too: (r u sure that u allowed to access this system? ;-) re-setup will be the best option

You can perform a password reset in the webadmin, which will prompt you to re-set the web (admin) user, loginuser account, and root passwords.

You have to Login first with the Loginuser and then get root by using the su command.
