Mail Security will be DELAYED?

Dear Astaro,

our sales representative just informed us that the mail security feature failed your internal quality control and therefor will NOT be in the V7 RTM. If you can confirm this I must with all due respect point out my very disaffection about this as you surely had more than enough time.

Please give a statement and don´t show us up.

    Hi Joerg, 

    first of all, please note that this is not an official Astaro Support forum nor is it a place to request "official Astaro Statements". 
    Normally these kind of requests will NOT be anwserd.

    The Astaro.org Bulletion Board is for Astaro users to talk to each other.

    Even if that is not the right place to talk about this.
    I am not aware of any "Mail Security" Feature that did not make in in V7.

    It is true that the "Email Encryption" failed some tests in the last QA cycle,  and needed some rework, so did more than a hundred other test cases. 
    This forced to delay the final GA relase date a few weeks.

    But currently I don't know of a mail security feature that has been postponed and will not make in in V7.

    Hi Gert,

    first of all, sorry my intent meant the mail encryption feature. I´m very glad to hear that this will be present in the V7 GA as we are waiting a long time for it and also our users are demanding for a solution. 

    Secondly i´d like to point out my reason I chose this forum to ask: I asked at three different sources to get this me-told statement settled right but no-one could answer me. So I decided to chose a forum where I could be sure that it´ll be read by engineers close-to-development like you are Gert. And I´m glad I did so because now I finally know the feature which I am waiting for will be part of the V7. My apologies for choosing this forum, I know it´s usually not the right place to discuss this. Particulary in regard to this: Thank you very much for answering me!
