GPL code still exists in V7 so I think it's safe to say that there will be a Home license for V7. As far as the upgrade path goes I presume that you will have to completely reinstall, no Up2Date method.
Personally i'm not really interested in playing betatester again when i can't use the final thingy like with astaro >2 (month and month of testing, then BAMM, no more license that's remotly usable for normal people...)
Why wouldn't you want to do a fresh ISO based install?
The production release version will have just about every module tweaked in a tuning process, so any up2date release will be almost equivalent to a ful ISO install. Now a fresh install after the issues that have been found in the beta versions would make more sense to ensure any suspect code is removed.
While I understand ISO installation can take time, I feel for system stability it should almost be mandatory.
Guys, why have you lost faith in us? I am quite surprised that so many users think Astaro would change something they have done for years.

Yes, Astaro will continue to give away a home use license for ASG V7 for free. As always this license is only for non-commercial use at home and limited to 10 IPs/Users behind the device.
Yes, SSL VPN will be part of the home use license, limited to 10 users.
Yes, Astaro currently plans to offer a final up2date package to update from the BETA version to the final GA version, unless there is a technical reason that prevents that.
