I'm sure that they assume that if you have the cash to buy a 120 you can afford the appropriate license instead of attempting to pirate the software aspect of the appliance.
When you purchase an ASG, it comes with a software license. The only reason I can see wanting to use the home user is if buying the home user AV packages.

I'm Aodhan.. the full licenses for an ASG 110 are quite inexpensive; If this is a "legitimate" request (reusing old hardware, etc.--say you upgraded to a 220 at work, and you took the 110 home), call Astaro to see what you can do.
The site is a little confusing, there's an option for just URL filtering (and one other that I can't remember) for v6, then antivirus, antispyware, and the whole 9 yards for v5. Somewhere in the FAQ I did find mention that a v5 subscription license will work just fine in v6, as long as the license is valid.
Then when you go to apply it, it gives you the error saying that it's invalid or already been applied. I found that even though I got this error, it actually applied the license and works fine. Note that the "Subscriptions" column are all set for a year, the Options column just says everything's off. It's a bit confusing but you're probably fine, just download the key and take a look in it, you'll likely see the antivirus set to 'on', among other things.
