P2P Blocklists in Astaro ?

Can anyone tell me if Astaro is capable of automatically importing, say, the blocklist.org list ?
What I am trying to do is stop having to use PeerGuardian on each machine, and instead move the functionality onto an Astaro Firewall.
If so, what would you reckon the minimum hardware reqs would be ?

    Don't think you will find this function, as Astaro is an Enterprise level firewall, and most Enterprise or even companies will not allow P2P. 

    On top of that, most reasons to use P2P blocklists is when you are sharing things you should not be to begin with.

    You can use the provided Snort rules to block many different types of P2P traffic. However, this works by identifying packet content, and dropping the packets. It does not use an IP address blacklist. As ReD-MaN pointed out, Astaro is designed to be an enterprise firewall solution.

    If you do run a P2P client from inside an Astaro firewall (I run the Azureus Bit Torrent client on my home network), then you should only be running a single P2P instance. Running multiple P2P clients from behind a NAT router gets to be problematic, since each P2P client will try to use all available bandwidth.

    VelvetFog, I believe what he wanted to do was have Astaro block pre-defined "blocklist" IPs, which are in use by things such as RIAA, MPAA, etc, as that is what PeerGuardian does. Basically to hide what someone is doing.

    If you can export that to iptables rules, you can probably add it to "iptables.local" or whatever it is on ASL.
