Licence question

Hi,

currently we are using astaro 4
with this type of license: 

Registration date:   25 Jun 2003       

Network interfaces:   7       

  

Protected Network

Devices (IPs):   100       

  

  

Up2Date:   enabled, valid until 25 Jun 2007       

Am I entitled to upgrading to 5 or 6?
Because they both ask for a license file but with my astaro 4 it is just a serial number in a textfield.

    Yes I think you should be entitled to upgrade your license.

    Go to you myAstaro portal and find your license, then select upgrade. (Note I don't think you can reverse this).

    Also, it will be easier for you to install v6 from scratch rather than try and upgrade your existing install.

    If I try to enter my license it said this: 
    There is a problem with the key "*****-*****-*****-*****-*****-*****-*****-*****-*****"

    

    

    Your activation or upgrade key is not valid or has already been applied. Please contact a sales representative.

    

    

    Please contact your sale representative for assistance.

    Problem is that I can't contact the astaro help without having the license added to the site. And like I said in version 5 and 6 I need a license file and not a key.

    I live in Belgium which has Brussels as it capital and lies in europe. [:(]

    Email support, put your existing key in the email.

    Since you have valid up2date license you should be entitled to v6.

    Try using the myAstaro gateway too.  Your license should be listed in there and you should be able to upgrade it to a v5/v6 license free of charge.

    No further replies from me for a month, I'm off to tour Egypt on holiday, wheee.
