Newbie question: Where do logs go?

Hello there,

allthough I'm using ASL for more than a year now I can't figure out where to find the log files I have activated for some packet filter rules (e.g. I've got a rule for MSN Messenger Data to be passed thru and this rule has that log icon activated).
Where can I view them? "Local logs"? Which category?

    Hello!

    If you activate the logging for a packet-filter-rule, you could 

    - trace the packets that match that rule in the "Live Log" (right corner - above the rules)

    - and you`ll find it in "Local Logs" -> "Browse" -> "Packet filter". Here you could also see the "Live Log" oder click on the folder and there you have the daily Logs.

    So in your case it could be better to search for your IP-Adress and/or Ports under "Local Logs" -> "Query".
