hello

i like to use and play with astaro firewalls, but when i habe a problem i can only post here in english...some problems are too difficult to explain and by the way my english is very bad...

i want to start a german astaro forum.

public interest for this project????

    Regt mich eh schon immer auf. Mega viele deutschsprachige hier, die Admins auch und wir kämpfen uns da alle mit englisch ab... Ich denke ich könnte sehr vielen Leuten helfen wenn es nicht immer so kompliziert wäre zu verstehen was die wollen und noch komplizierter zu erklären was sie machen müssen. Klar macht es Sinn wegen der ASL User im Ausland. Da aber eh niemand die Suchfunktion nutzt, ist es doch vollkommen egal ob nun deutsch oder englisch. Wenn einer Englisch fragt, englische Antwort. Wenn einer deutsch fragt deutsche...

    Also, I do believe the name Astaro is trademarked and copyrighted, so you could get into trouble for using it without permission.

    Because some people think it is sooooo unconvenient NOT to write in their native language. 
    They are afraid / unable to write in English, but i've never seen anyone belaughed in that forum because of bad english.
    Sure it is more stressful to post in English for non-native speakers, but i also think of the chance of getting faster support because of the worldwide community.

    If every country would have their localized board, then hopefully you don't live in Lichtenstein [:D]  ... there you should have an average of about 1 member
    (Calculated 6.6 billion world citizens to 12.000 forum members versus 30.000 citizens in Lichtenstein)

    But i agree with Basty777 that it seems to be that many people are "overlooking" the search button [;)]
